The Inside Story of a German Silicon Supplier Owing a Chinese Company Money, Without Any Business Reputation
(Series 1)

Dear friends,
As a solar enterprise in China’s mainland, we traded with the Germany silicon supplier
M Company in BAD ENDOF for the first time about the end of April, 2008. According to the
contract, we prepaid all the money 45 days in advance, yet, we didn’t get the goods on time. A month after the contracted time of delivery, M Company still wasn’t able to fulfill the delivery; under pressure, they reluctantly agreed to refund our money. However, we just didn’t get our money back at all. One more month passed, we had been spending a lot of energy and time to pressure them to refund the contracted money, only to find we got nothing but hollow promises.
We hope that our peers in the silicon industry could learn from our experience, stay away
from these frauds when you start the business; and safeguard your own rights if there are disputes
when the business is done. If the disputes can’t be settled, unfortunately, we should resort to
effective measures and laws; furthermore, we should inform the others of those frauds, so that
they will not follow the same old disastrous road of us; eventually, the frauds can be duly
punished.
Our next step is to disclose the detailed info of M Company, to safeguard our rights,
moreover, to protect everyone in this industry not to suffer from the same as we had been through.
To be continued!
